Editorial Policy

Our standards for accuracy, independence, and content quality.

At SocialEdu, we believe quality content requires a transparent process. This page explains how we create, review, and publish every article.

1. Editorial Mission

Our mission is to provide educational content that is accurate, reliable, and useful about social skills, soft skills, and personal growth. We are committed to:

  • Putting readers above metrics like clicks or time on page
  • Citing authoritative sources for every factual claim
  • Correcting errors transparently and quickly
  • Rejecting misleading, clickbait, or baseless sensational content

2. Editorial Process

2.1 Research

Every article begins with thorough research. We reference:

  • Peer-reviewed academic journals
  • Authoritative sources (.edu, .gov, .org) like WHO, APA, UNESCO
  • Books from leading academic publishers
  • Interviews with practitioners and domain experts

2.2 Writing

Our content is written by the SocialEdu Editorial Team — experienced writers, educators, and practitioners. Every writer is required to:

  • Avoid plagiarism (we check with anti-plagiarism tools)
  • Cite sources explicitly
  • Write in human language, not AI jargon or generic templates
  • Present balanced perspectives for controversial topics

2.3 Review

Every article is reviewed by at least one other editor before publishing. Editors check:

  • Accuracy of facts and citations
  • Quality of structure and logical flow
  • Clarity and readability
  • Alignment with our values

2.4 Updates

Our evergreen articles are reviewed periodically (at least every 12 months) to ensure information remains current. Updated articles display a "last updated" date.

3. Independence

We do not accept payments to review specific products, services, or brands. Our revenue comes from:

  • Display advertising (Google AdSense) which does not influence editorial content
  • Affiliate links (if any) which we always disclose transparently

4. Corrections and Clarifications

If you find an error in our articles:

  1. Email hello@socialatedu.com with the article URL and details of the correction
  2. We will review within 2-3 business days
  3. If the error is confirmed, we will correct it and note the correction at the end of the article

For major corrections, we will also announce the change on our social media.

5. Use of AI

We do not publish articles created entirely by AI without human review. AI may be used as a tool (for example, grammar checking), but every article is written, reviewed, and verified by humans.

6. Sources We Cite

We prioritize sources in the following order:

  1. Peer-reviewed academic journals
  2. Government and international bodies (.gov, WHO, UNESCO, OECD)
  3. Leading professional associations (APA, AMA)
  4. Accredited universities
  5. Books from academic publishers
  6. Trusted industry reports

7. Team Transparency

Our About page explains who we are, what we do, and how we work. Every article lists the author's name with a short bio.

8. Content We Reject

  • Medical information contradicting scientific consensus
  • Unsupported claims ("get rich quick", "instant success secrets")
  • Content targeting vulnerable groups
  • Clickbait without substance
  • Content violating copyright
